The Pioneer Woman Sweet Rose Double Fold Cotton Quilt Binding Ribbon, 7/8" x 25 Yards

We are making aprons so this helps a lot. It is also very pretty.

This double-fold, standard 7/8” quilt binding is substantial. It can be used to finish the edges on various items. The roll contains 25 yards (75 feet) which is enough for a large quilt or several smaller craft projects. The Sunny Circles design is typical of Pioneer Woman products, but not too flowery. It can be used for neutral or even masculine projects. It is 100% cotton and machine washable. I have not finished my project yet, so I can't speak to the colorfastness or shrinkage. I expect that it would be best to wash in cold/warm water.

I just adore the colors of the Pioneer Woman fabric line. All the florals and the bright reds and blues just sing together. This quilt binding comes on a roll. It's four folds set up perfectly to complete the binding of a quilt easily and efficiently. Seems like good quality fabric with substantial feel. Colors are vibrant. There's enough on the spool to bind off a large quilt. Having fabrics pre-selected will take the guess work out of the process. Can't wait to complete my project.

The blue floral print is quite lovely and vibrant. I have found more uses for this material other than for just quilt borders. I've just finished making a bow with it that adds a nice pop of color for a wreath. Since it has a double fold, it could be opened and pressed for a wider ribbon, but since it's so soft and not lined with a wire I suggest leaving it folded. Overall, this is a beautiful quilt binding that can be used for many different crafts. The fun part of making quilts is the variety of patterns that can be incorporated into the overall design and this border will add to its charm.

I have used this binding for hemming pants, jeans, towels that are fraying and many other items that needed a pop of color and a fresh hem, including curtains, pillowcases, linens and other fabrics that have life left in them but need a little help. The colors are just so vibrant and beautiful just as the rest of the Pioneer Woman line has proven to be, in my opinion! The quality of the fabric is excellent. I really liked working with. I've used it for hand sewing and sewed with it on the machine and found them both to be very easy to use. Additionally, I recently had to wrap a birthday present and didn't have a nice bow at hand. This Pioneer Woman's hem (75 yd) Rose fabric is so pretty. It has a very dainty floral pattern, mixed with all different colors of floral (blues, reds, peach tones, yellow) some green leaves and a cream/white background. I feel the pattern will really suit that county style very well. Although I am sure it will pair as any styles. I plan on taking some of my older pillows and giving them a bit of flare with this hemming along them. They will look so pretty outside with my patio set pillows, as this gives me a summer feel. The fabric is soft and breathable.

It has the soft feel off cotton. Roses are the main decor but there are also other wild flowers in the print. The roses are red but there's also pink, yellow , and blue flowers as well as green leaves. Will match up nicely with several different shades.

I was really excited to receive this pre-done binding. The fabric was adorable and as a quilter who doesn't love fully prepped binding?!? The fabric is very cute and has the feel of a lawn cotton. Lawn feels too fragile to me to use for binding so that was the first strike. It has been folded and pressed in like bias tape bindings you would get from a major box store but it has none of the crisp precision that those bias bindings of old do. It feels sloppy and inaccurate. I will use this but not without a lot of re-pressing and probably some trimming.

This was very thin polyester binding. Not worthy to put on a quilt with quality 100% cotton. Returning as this is not quilt or placemat quality. VERY THIN and flimsy. Binding should be strong. This is not.
