The Pioneer Woman Timeless 2 Stage Knife Sharpener, 0.46lbs, Teal

My son hunts and needs a very sharp knife. He had a friend to brake it and I bought him another one. H is the only one that does the sharpening. He is very happy with it. And we girls are just as happy with them. Thank you keep making them.

The knife sharpener is excellent, I love using it., it has two stages one for sharping and the other for polishing the edge. I used the sharpener and sharpened several of my kitchen knives and was amazed, it has a non-slip grip while using and is very easy to use. The sharpener can be used inside or outside especially if needed for picnics and cookouts. The sharpener is suitable for all kinds of knives. The sharpener does not take up a lot of space and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Bought for the color and I sacrificed quality

This knife sharpener by Pioneer Woman in teal is nice. It does work like it’s supposed to, but it took some time. I first tried using only the “fine” slot, but had to eventually use the “coarse” one, then the other one. In the end, the knives were sharp, but I just expected it to work faster. On each knife, one a paring knife and the other a carving knife, I used the coarse slot then the fine slot, to get them sharp. Each knife took several times, but that was expected. The paring knife took longer. I think I counted twice in the fine, three times in the coarse and then three more back in the fine. I tested the knife on a tomato and was pleased with the results.

Very workable knife sharpener. It's easy to handle with the small size (about 8 inch long x 3 inch high) and light weight. It grips well to the counter/table surface after you press down on it. The slots make sharpening much easier and safer -- just place the knife blade on the slot like you would cut it, start with the heel of the knife at the slot and pull toward you until reaching the tip of the knife. No need to angle or fanning it sideways like with the rod. Pull 2/3 times through the fine slot to keep your knife sharpened. If it's dull, use the coarse slot first. Great essential item to have in the kitchen.
