Love it! Holds a cookbook securely. So pretty, too!
Very good quality. Beautiful. Only problem was ledge that cookbook sits on was too narrow. I have the 3 ring binder styles. Still wanted it, so I took metal piece off front and cut piece of hardwood to add 1" to ledge. Stained, glued, screwed piece on. Then screwed metal piece back on and it covers screws on 1" piece. Looks perfect.
I love cooking with this. I recently purchased the outlander cookbooks, and did not want to put them on the counter in my cooking area, I don't have a big kitchen with a lot of counter space. it also helps that I can glance up instead of bending over a book. keeps the nooks mess free. what swayed my decision for this is that it is decorative. but I had also just purchased a PW measuring cup set. it was also $6 cheaper here, on walmart.com than Amazon.
The colors of this cookbook holder are vibrant and gorgeous, very on brand for PW. This is a great size and fits on the countertop nicely - it's not so giant it looks awkward and you'll definitely want to keep it out with how pretty it is. We use it to hold our recipe cards we get weekly from Hellofresh and it's perfect for that purpose.
I bought this for myself. It holds the cookbooks great and is lovely when there isn't a cookbook in it. If I had to pick a drawback I would say the designer metal covers some of the cookbooks writing, but not much. And depending on how thick your cookbook is, it may not have a wide enough area for the cookbook to sit while open. But that all said, it works great for me and I like the addition of it to my kitchen.
I love this! The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because it has trouble holding any larger cookbooks especially spiral bound. I know it is probably not made for spiral bound since they hold themselves open but it is nice to have them propped up to read more easily while cooking.
It is much smaller then it looks and it does not actually hold a cook book, it also is crooked so even if I found a cook book small enough to fit it actually sits lopsided. First ever pioneer purchase that I wasn't satisfied with. But I will say it is very pretty and it'll be used as a decoration more then a tool in my kitchen.
My item came broken and although I have reached out to customer service twice- no one has responded to replace my broken and unusable item. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
I was very disappointed when pulling book stand out of packing box it broke where lower screw was put in. I luv these products but for the price dollar store products are better quality. cups I ordered were chipped on rim. I rarely give a bad review but the quality of these products is not there. I hate that! My husband commented that the part that holds book is to heavy for base.
Junk. Don't waste your money. The back is screwed into the stand crooked so my cookbook is an inch higher on the right side than the left. Return it for an exchange? Sure. You'd think that it would be that simple. But Walmart expects me to take time off work and travel to the FedEx store in a different town to have FedEx ship it to them. Why do I have to do that? It's 100% Walmarts fault but they take no responsibility. And if it isn't worth it to them to stand behind their merchandise then why in the world do they expect me to jump through these hoops. All they will do is throw it in the garbage anyway. It's junk.
