The Princess Bride (DVD)

I love this movie. I first got it from the library and watched it just a couple months ago. I decided I liked it so much I wanted my own copy. Highly recommend it! It's cheesy at times but also funny, dramatic, and all around great.

I ordered this movie for my son's birthday gift. He thoroghly enjoyed it. Just used regular shipping but it was fast.

I love this movie! You cant live in my family without seeing this at least a hundered times! Ive watched it so many times I can quote it. Its deffinetly a good movie for kids and adults. It doesn't have all that adult content in it so kids can watch it, but its still a movie adults will like.

This movie has everything: adventure, romance, courage, friendship, good overcoming evil, but not too evil that it isn't wonderful for children. Grandfather comes over to read his grandson, who is sick, a classic from his own childhood, and hence Princess Bride begins. Commradery and comedy are halmarks in the supporting actors. I LOVE this movie for our family!

This movie is our families all time favorite! The acting, comedy, suspense, and the whole lay out of the movie and story is amazing and doesn't miss a beat. This is a wholesome family movie to the finest. "Have fun storming the castle!" "Do you think it will work?" "It will take a merical" Are one of our families favorite quotes. There are so many to choose from and they all bring back to that scene of the movie and you will laugh as though you are watching the movie all over again. "As You Wish!" is mine and my spouses favorite line of all. Run out and buy this one and add it to all occassion movies! Enjoy over and over again. There is no age limit on this one and that is half the enjoyment!

I was hoping a 20th anniversary edition would have had more extra features.

cover was not as advertised!! The cover (online) shows the classic Wesley and Buttercup reflection scene, which is what I thought I ordered....it matched a T-shirt with this exact scene that was to be part of a gift for my daughter. When I received the dvd it had another scene (totally unlike the cover advertised), so I had to dig out my copy of the classic dvd and include with the matching t-shirt and I will have to keep this one! Not happy when the image online does not match the product you receive!! Too late to send back, must ship for Christmas presents to get to my daughter on-time!
