The Promise - by Danielle Steele
I read this book many, many years ago. It was my first Danielle Steele book that I read. I really loved this book and still remember it after all these years. I won't tell about the book so as not to tell too much, but it is a very good book. It is about the intense feelings of true young love and also about the heart ache of love. It is about how someone so close to you might not understand such a beautiful love and will do everything to tear it apart. Read this book. It was happy and sad. I had tears running down my face from the love of these two individuals. You will not be disappointed in this book. Makes a great gift for a teen aged girl. I was 20 years old when I first read this book. Still one of my favorites. After reading the book, watch the movie.
