The Punisher 1:6th Scale Collectible w/ Scene & Comic (Marvel: The Punisher War Journal #8) - McFarlane Toys

My son has been an avid collector of all things Punisher. He brought this to my attention and asked for it to be a Christmas present. It will be opened on Christmas. But, he was very impressed with the write-up of it, so I am sure it will be a great purchase for other collectors.

The McFarlane Toys brand is known for it's detailed and quality products. They continue to impress collectors as they put out new products, but their prices have practically doubled which does not encourage me as a collector to buy more from them. I understand that costs have gone up and this may be out of their control. I will just have to be more selective in my choices. My loyalty to a great company will still remain as long as they keep putting out top notch products. Walmart is smart to have their products available at regular prices and will beat out E-Bay and other secondary markets who mark up prices.

It is a beautiful piece, the Punisher has never looked better. The packaging looks great and the details are very nice. It looks great in or out of the packaging.

McFarlane makes great collectibles

For the price not bad but it states it's a 1 /6 scale statue, making the figure supposedly 12 inches at a 6ft human. The statue is only 10 inches and the punisher is 6ft 2 inches, making the statue a total of 2 1/5 inches short, it's like standing a 6ft person next to a 5ft 8in person....? I'm not overly complaining because the carport America statue was correct in size and so was the deadpool and Vernon. So it had to be laziness or just cost cutting, which ruins it being able to set in the collection because it makes it way too short. Plus the backdrop was bent and curved ruining the look. Also this statue is made of poly material not statue sculpting material. You can actually warm the material and bend it, that's how weak the material is that's used. It's no ceramic or hard material of any type. You can actually scrape the paint and bend the weapons he's holding. I would not have bought if it wasn't on sale for deal days. PLUS THE COMIC BOOK HAS THE WRONG COVER FOR THE COMIC THAT'S IN THE INTERIOR. THEY USED THE %238 COVER WITH B THE %236 STORY INSIDE, get it together Mcfarlane.
