Starfrit The Rock Fry Pan, 10"

I first used The Rock frying pan at my son's house when I go each week for Grandma Thursdays. I knew I would get one for myself when it was time to replace my old skillet. I am very particular about the bottom of skillets...I want an exterior that is easy to keep looking like new. I will never again purchase a skillet with a bottom that has that circular pattern in the metal. The Rock skillet is truly non-stick and is very durable. I am really happy with this frying pan.

I had previously owned a The Rock Classic 1.9 L Saucepan in which I made my oatmeal breakfast. After several years of use the "non-stick" coating wore off the bottom and the new purchase was to replace the initial saucepan. I am back to making a perfect breakfast each morning in a perfect size saucepan.

I bought 2 fry pans from a local grocery store for my 5th wheel. I fell in love with them. So easy to cook with and clean. I bought the 10 piece set for my house. Now I think I have to get the 10 piece for my 5th wheel. They are so light. Just love them. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.

The pan rim was bent when I received it (this was mentioned in a few reviews I read prior to ordering). I actually gave this review 4 stars but when I try to leave comments it somehow keeps changing my review to 3 stars. The pan is amazingly non-stick. Eggs, pancakes just float around the pan.

Loved it for a year then the bottom started wearing away :( it was my favorite pan. Was kinda like a cast iron feel. I even hand washed after use with a non scratch pad and dawn soap. It still wore off the inside of the pan. I hope they make them better in the future as I would rebut another one.

This would have been our third 8.5 inch pan. The pan arrived damaged and had to be returned. Still waiting for the replacement pan. Otherwise, the pan is excellent as long as the coating remains. Once it has been scrubbed away, it is no longer a non-stick surface. Hence the necessity to purchase so many replacement pans. The metal handle works well. It is used to fry eggs and steaks often. Also saute fresh vegetables in chicken broth.

I bought the Rock Frypan and EVERYTHING sticks to it.....HORRIBLE
