Strong, Well Constructed, Attractive
The Harvest Fiesta Fermenting Crock is well made, sturdy, and attractive. The 5 Liter should hold about 5 cabbages, and the weighted stones will keep them under the brine, which is crucial. The unit arrived quickly in perfect shape. I totally recommend this one. It comes from the Czech Republic. In Eastern Europe cabbage and sauerkraut is a fundamental part of the diet. I lived in the Slovak Republic, so I know!

Beautiful crock with great features!
Received this as a gift from my husband. I absolutely love this crock. I had the german style crock but unfortunately i broke it. This crock is definitely an upgrade. The biggest reason being that the opening is much wider so its easier to load cabbage and pack in. The second reason is that the interior is completely straight-walled, no hidden corners for mold to hide and easy to clean. Overall really happy with this crock. And the delicious sauerkraut we've been making!
