The Shield: The Complete Series (Blu-ray)

This show was released in what I'd like to say were the glory days of television when you'd see seasons of shows lasting 20 episodes, not the scrawny 6-10 episodes these days. My father asked me if walmart sells this TVshow and I sure enough did find it. He wanted the DVD version of the show. The price tag at the time was around 70 dollars. A wee bit higher than the DVD price. So of course I want him to enjoy the higher quality picture. When we finally received it, we were very surprised. The case is beautifully crafted, and it opens like a book, it is hard I admit to figure out at first. But once you do. It's so wonderful. As I said, it opens like a book. So each page is a very pleasing 1 Blu-ray disc in a nice CD holding slit with pictures of the show and vice versa. You can easily find what you are looking for without issues. No bunched-up discs in 1 long CD holder here! (Like other shows such as Walking dead/Burn notice, etc.) I have never seen the show, but it really makes me want to watch it now! So, what are you waiting for? Buy yours and see for yourself!

This is as close to a definitive release as you can get for one of the greatest TV shows of all time. Unlike most complete series sets you can get now that are inevitably repackaged to stuff as many discs as possible into a single plastic case, the packaging for this set is also fantastic. I also paid only $62.99 tax for this, which is an absolute steal for what you get.

The Shield is a great show. I believe it started it all for FX and high quality tv shows. It's raw, gritty and intense.

The packaging is great with a big Badge on the box. I haven't gone through all the discs but so far no issues. This show is so cool. Watch it on streaming or own it out right. Vic Mackey is one of the best TV characters ever.

Great movie. the 2nd cd, it started to stall, it was disappointed, especially it is not cheap

A couple of the discs had scuffs on them. This isn't your fault. It's clearly a production issue and I might reach out to the studio about those two discs.
