The Sims 2 Castaway - Wii

This is a fun game if you are a fan of the Sims series. It's completely addicting and there are many different ways that you can play. Try to get rescued if you want or stay out there as long as you like, play as multiple characters or really "rough it" and just go it alone (one character - man vs. the elements). It's so worth the money!!

Hey! I got this game as part of the package with my Wii, and I don't regret getting it at all! It's one of the best games I've played yet! Making your own homes, your own clothes, your own beds, having a garden, having chickens for eggs and meat, making friends with chimpanzees, all those things and more you can find in this fun game. However, like every Sim game (other than the MySims series), you have to take care of your Sims needs before you can do the things you want to do towards meeting your goals in the game. And this WILL grow tiresome, so get used to it. And to make all those awesomely cool items you want and need for this game, you have a LOT of foraging to do, and I do mean a lot. The going around and clicking on items to gather and chop gets so tiresome, it's not funny. You will grow annoyed, and you will need breaks from this game. But all that is worth the fun rewards and relative freedom in creation this game brings you. So, I definitely recommend this product, as I play it for hours on end every time I turn it on. Oh, one last thing, I suggest a mute button every once in a while. Sim speak, while cute at first, will quickly get on your nerves, and make you want to scream at your television to PLEASE SPEAK ENGLISH ALREADY!!!! Just a heads up. Anyway, that's my opinion. This game was purchased as a Christmas gift for my nine year old son. I purchased three, and this is his favorite. I watched him play it over the holidays, and it is very appropriate for his age--not too complicated, and many levels to explore. I recommend for this age group.

this is a very fun game, once you start playing its hard to stop. the only bad thing about this game is that if you want to more than 1 game saved, like if you have someone over and you dont want them to play on your game you have to start a new game and you cant save the game had before.orif you have siblings you all have to play on the same game. other than that it is really fun and easy to learn.

This is a great game! It blew me away, its alot like Sorviour but u are on it! The chimps are really funny 2! The gmae may seem a little hard at the begging but u get used to it and u will love it!

AMAZING!!!! It never gets boring and is VERY interesting. The Chimp friends are personally my fav! I named one Manii, It sounds like a Chimp name....Anyway there is plenty to do and to collect, make clothes, food, ect.! I LOVE the Sims 2 Castaway game!

I've been a big fan of The Sims for several years. This game introduces a different kind of game play. You actually get to run around with your sim and collect food and supplies, build things, and search out new places. I enjoyed it immensely! The only con that I found was that the game was over too soon. I probably finished the game in about 20-24 hours of total game play time. Definitely worth getting though, especially if you're a fan of The Sims.

I have never played Sims before this but I absolutely LOVE this game! I have never been so addicted! It really is like being on Survivor because you actually gather resources and food, have to build shelter and furniture, and have mini-missions like finding hyroglyphics, catching chickens, spearfishing, finding and befriending local chimps and finding your crewmates in due time. It really keeps you busy and entertained, exploring jungles and identifying trees to see if they're edible. As you progress, things get more elaborate. Then you can even plant and grow your own garden with the things you collect. SO much fun! I absolutely enjoy every moment!

This game has yet to meet my expectations. I was so excited when I first started to play it on christmas when I got it and now im kinda bla on it. It started off so great..its just okay now. Im on the 3rd island out of 4 and only then when I got to that point was it boring. They need more instructions on the game. The little booklet that you get isnt any help at all. Though I must say this, The sims is more fun on wii than on the computer or playstation. Its alot easier to manuver.

I've had this game for about 2 weeks now and at first it was a blast. I am a sims-addict so I loved it. But now that I've done pretty much everything the love for this game is over. I'm bored. I guess if you were really into it you could build amazing places to live and such, but once the goals were fulfilled for me the game was over.
