The Sims 2: Double Deluxe - PC Games

This game is excellent, but if you plan to run it on a Vista laptop, forget it. Vista can't handle this game very well, and has several issues. While it may work, chances are it will mess up along the way. Best to stick with Windows XP or even 7. Both are much better...

This game is great! It is very realistic and can make you feel very real inside the game! You can make your own person and it's personality. Make a whole family if you want! I think it is for ages 10+ because it 'shows' nothing too bad. I recomend it and i think htere is nooo problem with it AT ALL! I just can't stop playing!

I was impressed with Sims 2, and I think it is loads better than the first one. I prefer the PC game to the PS game. This is easier to navigate and do different commands with the sims faster. It's also more involved with less loading time. It takes quite a bit of power to run this game properly, so I would suggest making sure your pc will be able to run it. I am very happy with this purchase.

Another person said that this game doesn't work well with Windows Vista. Well maybe not for them but I have Windows Vista and meet all the requirements and I had very few problems. I would recommend this over the Playstation 2 version beacuse the PC version has SOO much more to it that the Playstation 2 version had to cut out like aging, sickness, having children, etc. It's very addicting and yet calming. Such a simple yet complicated game all in one. When I first got it, it was a little slow with loading and froze my computer a few times but that was it. After the first 2 days it started to work perfectly fine; very quick and smooth. I would also recommend using a fan to keep your computer cool if you play for long hours. I discovered that it would overheat my computer causing it to freeze so just play for a few hours then let it cool down or use a fan.

I would definately reecommend this. It takes about 15 minutes to install but it's worth it. I'm like attached to this game it rocks! You can build houses,create people like you and best of all control what you want them to do. It's sooo much fun. Please get this a dn I promise you that you will fall in love with it. And the price is what it should be worth and your actually saving $40 because it also has 2 expention packs. Have fun!

I decided to treat myself to this game a while ago. I thought that this particular pack would be most fun. But if you want this for the celebration pack throwing parties in this game is super hard and not fun. but the nightlife is cool cuz you can go bowling, dancing, by new clothes, and dine out. Though your sims can get preganant it shows nothing bad, probaly just make small kids wonder. Also it is only innapropriate if you decide to play the game that way. But over all this game is super fun and so addicting, plus wacky stuff keeeps happening to surprise me. Trust me you NEVER stop being surprised. Also the game is so real, after playing the game for sometime I started to change my way of thinking for the better. Beware though I suggest looking up cheat codes at or playing with two people familyies at first. Like I said it is challenging but a good stress buster too. This game is perfect for anyone.

I love love love LOVE this game! The only problem with it is that it's addicting :) I'm always playing it in my free time! My husband hates it because it cuts into his computer time :) Would totally recommend it! So far I've bought the Expansion Packs "Seasons" "University" and "Open for Business". I love how it comes with "Nightlife" (which costs $30) and Celebration Stuff (I think that's between $10 and $20) So you really get a great deal!

This game is the best game I've played yet! I haven't been bored with it, and I spend all of my free time playing it. It doesn't crash while I'm in game, and it has great quality. If you haven't played this game, you're missing out!

I wasn't sure if this purchase would be something I would later regret but when I got it home and installed it I was happy. This game is so much fun and entertaining. The bounus expansion and stuff pack make this an even better purchase! The Nightlife expansion is the newer version of "The Sims: Hot Date" and it is better than the original. Very cool. It is well worth the price and exceeded my expectations.

I personally love this game. It's a great deal since it involves the Sims 2 base game, the Sims 2 Nightlife Expansion Pack, and the Sims 2 Celebration Stuff pack. I love throwing various parties and allowiing Sims to start families and grow old together and eventaully pass away. It's fun and I would definitely recommend this product. [Beware of downloading certain custom content and using certain cheats, it bugged my game a little.]
