The Sims 3: World Adventures Expansion Pack (PC)

I've been a huge Sims 3 fan since its release last spring, so I can say I was very happy to see this expansion. World Adventures adds so much to the Sims 3 game. Skills are learned faster, characters are more realistic and the adventures are endless. You can travel to France, Egypt or China and explore many different tombs, caves, etc. There are secret treasures hidden all over each city along with many people to meet and gather information from. I love being able to "cross oceans" with the characters as well. The adventures themselves have really added some strategy to the game, which was much needed when your characters and homes get repetitive. It's great how they incorporated all the new elements in with the old. And I love playing with my original characters, only now to have them broaden their horizons. My computer runs this game quite smoothly, but of course you need a very up-to-date video card and plenty of RAM. I'm having a blast.

I thought that this expansion would just have extra cities to go to or something, but this actually has places to explore and legit adventures you can go on. It is so cool! Exploring hidden tombs and caves is fun on this and it definately adds to the Sims 3 collection. DEFINATELY WORTH IT!

I love this expansion pack!!!! Im going to buy ambitions for Christmas and i hope its just as good! This game is worth the wait to download it. its super fun and you will be entertained for hours!!

If you are a fan of any Sims game, or already have the original Sims 3, you NEED World Adventures* to expand your game! It is addicting, fun and well worth the money. You can now take your Sims to other worlds and explore what other cultures have to offer. Not much of an explorer? There are plently of other things to do in the other worlds, such as shopping for rare collectables, sight-seeing some famous sites, or tasting some exotics foods your Sim can learn how to make! *Requires the original Sims 3 to already be installed on your computer to play.

This Product was definately worth it! Surpasses my expectations by far!

Gave this game as a gift to my grandkids. They love the game and play it for hours. It's a add on game and I feel it's a little pricey, but what do grandparents know?

I love the Sims I've been playing since the first ones came out, I even have castaway stories. I need a better graphics card to have better game play, but other then that its great.

This expension pack for The Sims 3, my favorite game for the past 5 or 6 years is just wonderful. The Sims 3 is the newest of The Sims games and it is "new" in many ways. The convenience of buying it on your internet site is great. I have not played the games that my grandchildren play on the computer because they are too hard for me to play. However, this World Adventures Expansion Pack has some of the fun and excitement of those tougher games as you search tombs, etc. finding treasures.

It is a little buggy and takes forever to load, but the game itself is definitely worth the wait! Very Fun! BTW, Wal-Mart says "not avail in stores" - "online only" I BOUGHT MINE AT OUR LOCAL WM. SO CHECK THERE FIRST! :)

I waited for this xpac forever. I wanted to see them incorperate something similar to RPGs quests and such, and the adventures you get to complete are exactly what I was looking for. As an avid World of Warcraft and Sims player (i've been with both since the very beginning) this xpac is the best of both worlds. You get the excitement, puzzles and adventures of an MMORPG (minus the jerks) and/or RPG and the fun of the all-time favorite Sims. I very much recommend this for any Sims fan, or those RPG fans looking for something new and different than their usual gameplay tastes.
