So a little backround about me. I'm a Audio Visual Tech. Sound is extremely important! being heard, tonality, quality, Etc. Do not rely on your micorophone on your laptop or celluar phone for a Good Voice Recording or broadcasting or Voice to to typing etc on your Word for Windows Use this .. Looks great and the price can't be beat for the features! Still figuring out what it can do but basically plug and play so far.. just be sure to " select " it for your microphone needs!

To hook up for the microphone was very easy it sounds clear you don't have to hold on to it and we are creating a new National singer at church using your official volume microphone hands-free that's the important part when we purchased your microphone

It is amazing. I have been looking for a good microphone for a long time for my podcast. Tested a lot of different ones. Once I tried this one, I am not going to keep testing no more. The best one in very reasonable price. I can't say one bad thing about it. I highly recommend it to everybody. The quality of the sound is amazing and it's so easy in use. If you looking for a good microphone, that's the one!

This product was more affordable at Walmart compared to Target and Best Buy. Also is has dual functionality which makes it a great product for everyone to use for different purposes like, karaoke, blogging, and gaming.

The SMM2097 is an awesome microphone. The voice effects are super cool. It's multiuse for business meetings is creative and makes being in a meting interesting and tolerable LOL. I personally love singing and so when I have those moments where I feel the need to belt out tunes with a hair brush, this is definitely a great substitute to use and it makes me sound good!!! All in all it's a great interactive microphone and I 100% recommend.

I bought this mic two days back at a local big box to use primarily for Karaoke (connected to another singing machine product), and it's basically unusable for this purpose. The muti-directional mic options seem like a good idea, but the mic appears to decide which ones it wants to use regardless of the option chosen; the solo singing mode picks up sounds from across the room - even with noise suppression active - and that results in, you guessed it, feedback. The included troubleshooting recommends having the mic's internal volume at 1/3 and adjusting upwards to your preference l, but that just leaves you stuck between not hearing vocals over the music or feeding back with every note. Overall, the sensitivity is apparently geared towards the advertised podcasting functionality rather than the advertised singing one. Aside from that, theres another randomly occuring issue with the (arguably fun, if short lived) built-in effects where the mic just refuses to recognize selections, and needs to be powered off and back on to work properly. My last major issue is the delay when no effects are present, which are a good 30-50 Ms at least, and make karaoke even less fun. The pitch correction is nearly unnoticeable, but that's the point, and I won't complain of any shortcomings with the auto tune despite the "studio quality" promises... But sadly, it's not enough to keep from returning this to the store from whence it came.
