Newly remastered, ‘The Queen is Dead' is the penultimate studio album by The Smiths, widely considered to be their best album, as well as one of the 10 best albums of the 1980s. By this point, Morrissey had become the patron poet of the alienated, Johnny Marr's jangle pop guitar work was being imitated by Peter Buck and The Edge. The title track alone is full of more post-punk emotion and chaos than entire albums by bands that would follow in the footsteps of The Smiths a decade later. Every collector of rock vinyl should have this album in their collection.

Classic album at a great price!
Great album that really stands the test of time. Got it when it was on sale for $20. Totally worth it. Sounds great too!

The Smiths -Queen Is Dead
One of The Smiths best albums. Meat is Murder gets all of the critics love, but I think this is their best album showing the most growth. You can't go wrong with any of The Smiths albums, but this one will leave you morbidly happy!
