The Smurfs: Season 1, Vol. One [DVD]

Oh my GOODNESS!! I was the biggest fan of this cartoons series in the 80's, I am so HAPPY i can watch these cartoons with my children. Back in 1992 I decorated my oldest child's 1st birthday cake with "Smurfs", even though the series was no longer on the air. I remember waking up early every Saturday morning just to watch my episodes of "The Smurfs". How exciting that my kids will be able to watch the same toons that i grew up with in the 80's. I recommend this awesome product to all the "Smurfs" fans that are now parents to share with your children!!!

This set came out today and I enjoyed watching these greatest hits with my 4 year old and 2 year old. They both loved them as much as I did. I'm looking forward to more volumes and seasons of the Smurfs to come.

I liked the Smufs ever since I was little. And I still like the Smurfs.

This DVD brings me right back to my childhood! It is a great DVD! I recommend it to anyone who grew up watching the Smurfs or those with children! Children nowadays will enjoy it as much as we did!

Was one of my favorite cartoons growing up, and couldn't wait for it to come out on dvd for my children to watch. They don't make cartoons like they use too. My 4 children and great niece sat with excitement and loved it. It was colorful, and just liked I remembered from when I was a child. I would highly recommend. My children have watched it many times over. They range from ages 8-11.

Just like everyone else I also watched this growing up in the 80's-90's era and miss those days. The cartoons back then were awesome and know I buy the DVD's for my daughter to grow up and watch but secretly for me and the wife to watch to. Every Saturday if Im not working we have a retro Saturday morning cartoon marathon from the DVD's I purchased. I wish they would play atleast some of the old school cartoons atleast once a week or somthing. I fliped around the channels on my inlaws direct TV and found a channel called the boomarang channel and thought that was cool but played mostly 70's-80's cartoons which still isn't a bad thing. Every pay check I try to buy one cartoon DVD set from the past and I encourage more people to have there kids watch these excellent cartoons.

The dvd has excellent clarity and audio. Just as I remembered from watching with my son, he wanted to watch this with his girls for christmas this year but he died 12/21/08, so i watched it with my granddaughters telling them of how their father had loved this show. The girls loved it and request each time they are at my home for visits.

Smurfs are awesome! This is the full 1st season!

Me and my boys love the Smurfs. My oldest son who is 3 is having a blast watching it he loves them. I recommend this movies to anybody it a good old classic.

We bought this movie knowing that we would enjoy a childhood classic, our 2yr old son enjoys it aswell. However it did get old hearing "smurf" everything... I myself probably wont watch it much cause it gets on my nerves., but if you LOVED the smurfs it is only $20dollars for 19 episodes. It's sold out in stores most of the time so if you really want it, buy it here at walmart.com !
