The Spice Way Hazelnut Dukkah Seasoning - Traditional Egyptian Spice Blend - 8 oz.

I am a nut for spices and herbs (Oh, look: pun! hahaha) and I love scouring the Walmart websites for unknown or heirloom spices, herbs, oils and such. I most always end up with The Spice Way, as they have good quality, a lot of variety and fair prices. This specific blend was mentioned in a cooking class I took, and rather than making it myself, I found it ready made by The Spice Way. That helps, because to buy loose hazelnuts for this, they are expensive. It is way more economical like this. Usually, I decant to glass jars, but I decided against that, so as to not expose the nuts to air too much, and because the bag has a very good resealable option and is sturdy. The blend is really good if you dunk good quality artisan bread chunks in olive oil and dip it in the Dukkah, or sprinkled over cottage cheese. I also want to try it in salads or vegan scrambled eggs. It is nice to find something to literally spice up my vegetarian, non egg diet.

Haven't tried this before. pleasantly surprised. I love coriander and cumin. So this was an easy try. Tried it on chicken and a side of couscous. Delicious 😋

A nice flavor change for roasted vegetables and legumes. A bit pricey but good when sharing a meal that needs to be special.

tasty with bonus nuts inside - added to a charcuterie tray for additional munchie-pick food. I love using the spice on chicken

Not my favorite. Flavor's not great and whole hazelnuts don't blend well with the texture of the other ingredients.
