I love nutmeg, I sometimes just grate it and set it on my kitchen window seal. I use it on kind of baking goods, drinks, and to make homemade coffee creamer. I also cook with it. I like it in dry rubs for all kind of meats, in my rice, and to sprinkle on my steamed or roasted vegetables. Just remember add just a little bit, because it goes a long way.

Grating your own is always the way to go to get the best flavor. These are quality nutmeg at an affordable price in a resealable package for freshness.

Not very flavorful. Dull spice. I needed whole nutmeg, and this was all I could find at the time. I always buy whole nutmeg, as generally grating it myself gives me much more flavor than the already ground - not the case here. Was probably even less fragrant and flavorful than the cheap ground stuff. Can't recommend it at all.

Purchased a bag of Spice Way Whole Nutmeg from Amazon and the beans were so dry that I was unable to remove the shell from the bean. I had to throw out the whole bag despite a Best Buy date on the package of 7/31/2026. Will not be purchasing again.
