One of my favorite stories in the Bible - Ruth and Boaz - direct lineage to Jesus. Everyone should watch this movie - they don't make them like this anymore!

This had some definite scripture issues. Historical content may be right but, there's no bibical evidence to back up what they portray. Still a good movie and helps to understand what it could have been like but it is what if this is how it happenend.Still it is better than T.V.

Story was not based according to the truth of the bible. The movie was not in alignment to the chapter and verse of the bible. This is purely man's own ideas and interpretation (which is full of error) of the Beautiful Book of Ruth. Sad to say, makers of the movie drifted away from the real truth or perhaps just didn't spend time reading and understanding the book. I don't recommend to anybody.

I watched this video and it was not according to the Book of Ruth. I was very disappointed that they made Boaz mean towards Ruth in his fields, when in fact that Boaz noticed Ruth and said to his servants to watch over her and to leave extra grain on the ground for her. There are other misrepenstation in the movie and that did not follow the true meaning in the Book of Ruth in the Bible.
