first of all, I put 5 stars for the battery, which is a magnet....which doesn't die on you. the StudBuddy Plus Magic Stud Finder keeps you from putting more holes in your wall than you need to. it stops as soon as you cross a stud with nails...let it go and it stays there. it even has two levels built in. If you can't find a wall stud with this, you might need to call Bob Villa.

its a strong magnet males finding studs very easy. I also use it to pick up many different metal objects from screws to push pins. I keep them on my fridge.

The grip is great and I really like that it hangs on the wall because it is magnetic, which is a fantastic visual help. I also like that this doesn't need any batteries or changing. This would come handy for someone who needs to hang shelves, cabinets, paintings, TV's, lamps, etc. It is important to note that this is to be used on a drywall, so if you have plaster walls it might not work as well. If you are multifunctional, I noticed that this doesn't only work as a great stud finder, but also making sure that other projects or decor in the house are straight. For example, I recently tried to build my own DIY table, and this worked great and showing which pieces were straight and which needed extra work. Overall, this is a great multifunctional tool.

This is a handy tool for anyone to have. I use it to hang pictures especially if they are big one because I need to find a stud. I used it to hang my 65 in tv on the wall. It works great. It has a level and also a small ruler on the side which comes in handy. Three tools all in one! Now i don't have to get my husband to hang stuff for me! The packaging gives clear i instructions on how to work it and how to find the studs!

Easiest stud finder ever. We had the expensive one from the hardware store and it was frustrating and didn't work half the time.

This item did not work. It did not locate the stud and the magnet didn't engage. I had a friend come over with his stud finder which was larger and it located the studs right away

this really proves you get what you pay for. don't waste your money
