This is a handy tool for anyone to have. I use it to hang pictures especially if they are big one because I need to find a stud. I used it to hang my 65 in tv on the wall. It works great. It has a level and also a small ruler on the side which comes in handy. Three tools all in one! Now i don't have to get my husband to hang stuff for me! The packaging gives clear i instructions on how to work it and how to find the studs!

Since we are all stuck in our houses, I started making small changes to make my home feel more cozy and livable. For this reason, I stated decorating and hanging a few things on my wall. I'm not the best hanging things on the wall or making sure things are straight, so I decided to use this stud finder. Overall, this stud finder works very good! The grip is great and I really like that it hangs on the wall because it is magnetic, which is a fantastic visual help. I also like that this doesn't need any batteries or changing. This would come handy for someone who needs to hang shelves, cabinets, paintings, TV's, lamps, etc. It is important to note that this is to be used on a drywall, so if you have plaster walls it might not work as well. If you are multifunctional, I noticed that this doesn't only work as a great stud finder, but also making sure that other projects or decor in the house are straight. For example, I recently tried to build my own DIY table, and this worked great and showing which pieces were straight and which needed extra work. Overall, this is a great multifunctional tool.

its a strong magnet males finding studs very easy. I also use it to pick up many different metal objects from screws to push pins. I keep them on my fridge.

This item did not work. It did not locate the stud and the magnet didn't engage. I had a friend come over with his stud finder which was larger and it located the studs right away

Studbuddy This tool is amazing. My husband took it over when we got home. He didn't believe it would work as well as the package exclaimed.. So he went around the house testing it out and it DOES work, exceptionally well. He was surprised. Not only can it detect the studs, you can also use it as a level. While it does not detect the "wood" from the stud, it does detect the nails. At least that's how we think it works. It has really strong magnets and will stick to anything metal. A huge plus when trying to find somewhere to hang a very large and heavy shelf or picture. It will stick to the wall which makes it very easy to mark where you need to. Apparently it doesn't take a battery either which is cost saving. All in all we are very pleased to have received this product. Hope this helps.

This tool is a great deal for the money! I found the Stud Buddy very easy to use and very accurate. I would definitely recommend it.

Works exactly as it should and I love that I don't need batteries!!!

This really works! No more guessing with my Stanley stud finder that periodically works. When you slide it side to side, slightly changing your angle, it stops at a stud and stays there.
