The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (DVD), Kids & Family, Universal

My son waited for this dvd the moment the movie hit theaters. I preorder it the minute I saw it and it came yesterday and my son is over the moon about this movie!!! He loves Mario and loves this movie! Thank you Walmart for delivering it so quickly!

This movie is fun to watch for all ages so it was perfect for our family movie night, which included myself 42, my son 22, and my daughter 12. I ordered the basic dvd collector's edition and it played nicely in our xbox one (which still has the option to play disks). If you have love for any of the Mario games throughout the years, you're sure to find something familiar and worth loving about this movie!

Great follow up to the other Super Mario Movie, though it's worth noting this one is much more action oriented and doesn't have much in the way of plot development. Major characters like Rosalina have barely any screen time, and each scene jumps frantically from one action sequence to the next. The only time the films gives the characters room to breathe is when they're pacing around a space port, but even then there's no time spent developing the characters or their subplots. Visually, the film looks great. The quality of animation is a step above the first film, especially in terms of the action. Characters frequently duel with villains in rather creative slapstick brawls. Overall, I think the writers wanted to produce a film to appeal to a broader (i.e. low attention span) audience, particularly one that any age group could sit down and watch together. But if you're looking for a meaningful story or message, the film is going to feel quite threadbare.

This is a fun Mario movie that contains a whole bunch of other gaming characters that are also traveling throughout the galaxy. I thought it was a fun touch to include the other characters. My kids enjoyed this second Installment of the Mario world. Glad we added it to our collection.

This is a great family movie. If you have been considering it, I highly recommend it. It's a good, clean movie - it's about second chances and most importantly there's no confusion about what is right and wrong - good vs. evil. It's also a must see if you have played any of the N-64, game cube, Wii etc. games. You won't be disappointed.

I now have both Mario movies and I can't wait to watch this one again. I seen it in theaters opening day. I was one of very few ppl there at 9:15 am. lol I was like a big kid all excited for the nostalgia. I just happened to be on Walmart's site and this popped up. I knew I'd better grab it before it sold out.

I bought this as a Father's Day present. Haven't given it to him yet but I know he'll love it! Got it the day before it was released also! Quick shipping!!! Super happy with this purchase!

The price for this item is around the same as competitors but the difference for me was ordering it and receiving same day delivery, also good quality product

Super fun continuation of Mario's awesome adventures! Lots of references to earlier games in the series. All of my kids enjoyed it (boys and girls aged 9-16). I enjoyed it too.

My six year olds both really enjoyed this movie. The plot, graphics, and characters were great. It wasn't quite as funny as the previous Mario Bros movie and I definitely missed Donkey Kong, but it was still good.
