Very cute movie nothing like the book of course. Less dark and eery from the books version. Must have for all kids.

super happy
I bought this movie as a present for a sweet 3 yr old who has luekemia for a second time. We wanted a movie about being brave as a birthday present.I was very happy with the purchase being sent to her on time and that it was in great shape.

it was a good film with excellent animation and a clean dialog. my little niece and nephew love it it's there favorite.

I took my 3 year old grandson and i think i enjoy it more than he did. we are going to buy the dvd and look at it over and over and say "I am a gentleman"

an old classic
a classis movie with morals. better for 3 years and up. my 2 yr.old saw previews and wanted it but it was too long and detailed for him, it'll be good for him to watch when he can understand the lessons. It is an older movie so not a whole lot of singing and fast pace actions like the newer disney movies.

For the kid at heart
This movie was definately worthwhile waiting for to come out on dvd. Compared to other movies of this nature, The Tale Of Despereaux is more or less average. The story line isn't new. The art and graphics are good. It's a great movie for families with young children or for those of us in the older generation who like to get away from the reality of every day life. Definately a movie to watch.
