I have loved this movie for a long time. It has Elizaberh Tayor, who is beautiful and handsome Richard Burton. They are a pleasure to watch. The movie is high quality and plays very well. The Shakespearen dialog takes a little bit of time to get used to. The picture coloring is excellent.

I hate widescreen movies. but I enjoyed the taming of the shrews so much, I forgot how much I hate widescreen.

A classic Shakespeare comedy.
Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor do an excellent job. Their chemistry on screen makes this comedy even more enjoyable. If you like old comedies then this is a must have for any collection.

I love this movie!
For lovers of Shakespeare, or wild and bawdy romantic comedies, this is the best! Mine is a widescreen version. It is rated for adults only. Elilzabeth Taylor and Richard Burton are gorgeous together.
