I really liked this chai. CTC Assam and pieces of spices. Very flavorful. Steeped 2 tsp in 16 oz of 212F water for 5 minutes. I drink it with cream and sugar.
Best chai tea that I have ever purchased either bagged or loose leaf. Follow the directions on the container and it is perfect. it is more flavorful if you boil it versus just infusing it with hot water.
This tea is fabulous! I drink black tea twice a day. I've enjoyed adding a bit of this to my morning cup. Smells and tastes wonderful.
Light and crisp taste, wonderful tin for the price.
Absolutely delicious high end chia! Don't miss out on this during sale events!
Five stars! It is what it says. Admittedly, I am in the camp that says If you tasted one chai, you've tasted them all.
I use 2 tsp in my French press along with the contents of 1 organic pure ginger tea bag to brew my morning chai. I add xylitol and 1/2 and !/2 after letting it steep for 3 or more minutes. I love that it has no black pepper in it. It is spicy without being burny. Just a lovely way to start the day.
Absolutely loved this tea. Stopped drinking all my other tea until this was gone and then I was out! Poor me. But with every penny. I always loved the fruity gentle taste of Darjeeling, and first flush is the way to go. Second flush is good also but it's stronger and not as ""fruity"".
I don't understand why everybody is so ecstatic over this tea. To me, the taste is very weak and blunt, even if you make it strong. If you make it too strong, it becomes bitter. So there is really nothing in between. My favorite Darjeeling tea is Greenfield Darjeeling. It has a vibrant flavor. Too bad, they stopped selling loose leaf tea.
I've lived in India. This Chai lacks the flavor of the herbs, in fact visually there's not much of any of the ginger, cardemon or cinnamon.
