The Titanic Movie, Strategy Party Game, for Adults and Kids Ages 12 and up

My family loves board games and we are always looking for something unique to add to our collection. The Titanic Game proved to be a great addition to our collection! At first it seems as if the game will be overwhelming and complicated due to the sheer number of pieces, but after playing through the first time, we realized that it all makes perfect sense and is a super fun strategy game. The attention to detail and the quality, well-made pieces add even more fun to this game. It's definitely one of a kind and unlike any game I've played before. The basic idea is that you want to save as many passengers as possible from the sinking Titanic while collecting points along the way. The person with the most points wins. Saw this new game online and thought it would be a unique game for out next game night. Make sure you have plenty of time before you play to read through all of the directions and get the game set up. If possible, I recommend having a second person read the directions as well because there are a few areas that we were unsure about the first time we played and it helped to have a second person to fall back on for explaining to the other players. That being said, the game is a lot of fun and we enjoyed it very much. The game is most suited for families with older teen/adult children or for adults. Give it a try! This game is based on the movie and you play as one of 5 characters in the movie, each with a special ability. in rounds of play, you try to rescue passengers onto life boats and still have enough turns to get yourself onto the collapsible boat before the ship sinks. Each round players take actions according to the number of action cubes they own. They collect cards for special abilities or points, grab lifesavers so they can rescue more passengers, or take additional action cubes. A few cards make you sing the chorus of my heart will go on, or spit like a man (just the sound!), or sketch another player for lots of extra points. after each person's turn the rooms or decks are flooded. I found it very enjoyable and i happened to get it for under $4 which didn't last long, so i was very fortunate. Pieces are well made. instructions are well written. Looking forward to talking to game day.

I played the game with my wife and teenage daughter. It was so much fun to play. We enjoyed the titanic theme since we had all seen and enjoyed the movie. The game took some time but was enjoyable and we did not get bored. I appreciate games that require strategy and this was a good game for that. Perfect for any titanic fan!

I got this as a gift for someone else so I don't know about the actual game play but it looked really nice and felt like it was a good quality game just from the box and packaging.

I played this game with my 2 teenagers and we had so much fun! It's different than your typical board game which I love and of course it's based off of my favorite movie which is a huge plus. I really enjoyed this game with my family it was better than I was expecting my 11 year old played it and made him want to watch the movie its got a lot of really time pieces and takes some time to set up but overall it was awesome!
