The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre [Blu-ray]

Very classic, well written, brilliantly acted and directed.The performance of Humphrey Bogart in this film shows his range and brilliance. A great deal of older films shine in hd and are some of the best films. The Guns of Navarone (1961), One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1971) are some of those older films that when you watch it you realize they don't make quality, sometimes very introspective films like that anymore.

No way if they ever made a 4k of this movie could the transfer look any better. They cleaned up the print and the b/w movie looks rich. The extras are good too. Only thing I didn't like was the cheap looking blu-ray cover art. A must buy!

Great movie. Bogart is top notch and playing against type in a challenging role.

A great movie with great actors and a legendary director - the Blu-ray is a pretty good print and the price reasonable for such a great movie.
