The Twilight Saga New Moon Walmart Exclusive (DVD)

We watched this movie in theaters opening night. I can't wait to get mine. I pre-ordered mine a while back. I loved Twilight and I love New Moon. I have read all the books more than once. Of course the movies are a little different from the books. They can't possibly put everything in the book in a movie, but they are really good. I would advise people to watch Twilight first if they haven't seen it before watching New Moon. That way people kinda know what's going on. I think everyone should watch these movies even if its not something you would normally watch. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! Can't wait til June 30th. Eclipse(the 3rd movie) comes out in theaters.

im so excited to get this becuase i went to see the movie with a group of 12 people on opening night and it was awesome! i went to go see it the next day with 2 other friends and i had the prolouge memorized. Im excited to see the exclusive look at Eclipse and am counting down the days for the DVD!

This comes with a FULL scene of eclipse, not just a 30 second preview! I'm pretty sure it's 7 minutes long and would be well worth the price to get new moon dvd along with all the extras that are included. This is a great movie and I would recommend it to anyone.

Ok I stood in a line for two hours for this movie and i got some free stuff with it. It has cool extras from Eclipse and the only thing I didnt like was that it doesnt have any deleted scenes from New Moon which is one of the things I really was looking forward too and another retailer selling this movie has deleted scenes but I dont think they have eclipse scenes. so take ur pick which youd rather see.

This movie is AWESOME!!! This DVD comes with extras that you can only get with the two disc ultimate fan edition. Cant wait for it to come out on DVD

If you purchased the Ultimate Fan Edition and your disk 2 DOES NOT have the material listed in on the back of the box (Sneak Peek to Eclipse; Team Ed v Team Jac; etc), return your DVD set to the store for an exchange. We discovered that some Ultimate Fan Edition boxes actually contain Special Edition Disk 2s instead; these Special Edition disks only contain the 6-part documentary and the music videos. We returned our original purchase to the store for a new set.

My husband, bless his heart, got up and was at the store to buy this movie for me at 6am when they opened. The move is great, but doesn't have the special features I thought I'd be getting. The Eclipse preview was 6 minutes of filming featurette and 1 minute of scene. If you're like me, and more of a fan of the movie and not so much how it was made, then you'd also be disappointed to find that there are NO deleted/extended scenes on these discs. For the extra $5, I was disappointed. I should have read the description better.

I love the movie and was looking forward to the 'exclusive' extras - the 7 minutes of Eclipse was just about 45 seconds of the actual scene. I felt the "7minute preview' was very misleading. Also, there are no deleted or extended scenes in this version. I have checked both DVDs in every menu to no avail. I might just pick up a copy that specifically has those features. The fast forward Team Jacob and Team Edward was fun, and the quality and details of the movie seem better enhanced from the movie theater as well. Overall really about a $15-$20 price worth, not $24.96.

Don't get me wrong, the movie was amazing. This review is mainly about the extras that you have to pay an extra 7 dollars for. I was expecting a 7 minute clip from Eclipse. Instead, it had 5 minutes showing the making of Eclipse, and a 2 minute clip from Eclipse. I was very disappointed. It wasn't even a good clip. And the rest of the extras were ridiculous, too. It had "Fast Forward Edward" and "Fast Forward Jacob". Where it basically showed the complete movie, minus the parts that said person wasn't in it. For example, "Fast Forward Edward", only showed the parts of the movie that Edward was in. That is quite pointless, in my opinion. I definitely wish I hadn't of spent the extra money for the special edition.
