The Vicar of Dibley: The Immaculate Collection

It's such an amusing series! You see a lady vicar sent to a small village who never considered the idea of a female vicar. You meet the main characters and each one is crazy and unusual. The vicar seems to be the only sane one and helps every day with the help of her Curly Wurlys. It's a tongue in cheek comedy that deals with real life issues in a very funny way.

We love this CD set so much. We watched this series on Britbox and lloved it so much, we wanted to add it to our library. It is a fabulous show, a real belly laugher, great acting. You will love it. We all need more laughter, and this is a great remedy. Dawn French is great as the Vicar, as are all the other actors who make up this hillarious ensemble.

The Vicar of Dibley withstands the test of time. The entire cast is hilarious on your first watch AND your 500th! Every episode, every season is packed with hilarity.

This series is hilarious! I wish the series went on for more than 4 seasons. I was concerned it wasn't region 1 because it wasn't specified, but rest assured, it is.

Absolutely love this British comedy! Great cast of characters who are so quirky in the village of Dibley.

I really enjoyed the series. I especially appreciate the fact that they put the specials on the DVDs. I was concerned at first I wasn't going to see the episode with Johnny Depp, but it was there in the specials.

i know the program, having watched it many times on PBS. nothing better! jowever, this pkge was not delivered properly, and as a result, I never received it. instead of FedEx, it was shipped vis the postal service, which in mynarea gives poor service, not in vompliance with the.Americans With Disabilities Act. i could not get to the pkge, and by the next morning, it had vanished from my property--it was in the backbof my house, but not at the door per drlivery instructions. mo one could see it from anywhere other than coming to the backbof my house. the delivery person refuses to come up my hc ramp, and instead, tosses pkgs up onto the deck leading from ramp to door. my suspicion is that she had been eating and the food ofor was on the paper wrapper,vand ine of the multiple raccoons carried it off. i have seen them do it from my window. WM refunded my money. however, I cannot recommend this series highlybwnough. it is adult humor,but not off color; children will not ilinderstand it. so, buy ot onlynif WM is selling AND fulfilling the order! or, buy it elsewhere. you won't regret it if you enjoy british humor!
