The material was so thin the sun comes right through. I can't get otu of the sun. I will see when it rains and is windy if it does what I need.

DO NOT BUY
Broke upon 2nd use. Can't close it all the way bc the button doesn't work. Not windproof at ALL. Flips up constantly at the smallest gust of wind, completely useless. But I just found out there's a lifetime warranty so we'll see if they actually honor it. I'll keep you posted.

Cheap but poor quality product
very light weight and easy to use, however it lacks some basic functionality: 1. leaks in heavy rain 2. not sturdy at all 3. poor quality as umbrella spokes are breaking apart

First gust of wind and it flipped inside out causing one of the spokes to tear away from the fabric. Now It doesn't close properly anymore.
