The Windsor 56" Fireplace Mantel Unfinished

I was searching for a mantel for a long time, and finally i bought this one in July 2008. I bought it for [$] at the time, so the price has really gone down. the delivery was excellent. I stained it myself (first time for me.) My handy husband was able to install it in about an hour. Everyone comments on how beautiful it is. I've had it up now for 3.5 years now and it is still as beautiful as the day we installed it.

Our old fireplace surround was just plain ugly. We ordered the Windsor on line and it is just beautiful. We painted it white to match the rest of the trim and it looks like a million dollars. It was easy to put together and install. It makes such a difference in our family room. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a high end look for a very reasonable price.

The whole concept from initial order to final delivery was flawless! The workmanship was so great I even went to my neighbor and had him come over to see the mantel before I even primed and painted it. Everything was perfect - made me a beliver!

Product worked out well. We had a contractor install it and he had no issues getting it up and adapting the size a bit as the existing opening was a bit smaller than this came in. Wood was beautiful and although we painted it, we were tempted to paint it considering how nice it was.

I bought the 56"" Windsor Pearl mantel. It's beautiful and a quality product. It arrived in perfect condition, early, and was very well -packaged. So how do I know they have the best customer service? Because my son's dog chewed the edge off of the mantel, which was sitting on the floor before it was installed. I asked Customer Service for a replacement part, and they came through. We exchanged a few emails, tracked down the replacement part from their factory, and mailed it to me, all for free! They were friendly and helpful every step of the way. Pearl went way beyond the ""call of duty."" It's a company worth supporting, and they have excellent products.

I am very pleased with the mantel & the solid wood frame. I did notice a small nic in the wood but my painter asssured me he could correct it. Otherwise, it is beautiful & a very easy process. Thank you

Size and price was right. Fast delivery. Only negative was the adhesive residue that didn't show up til you stain it. The 4-5 areas took a long time to sand to get to bare wood so it would take stain properly.
