The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (Playstation 4)

I preorderd The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It's been 5 years since I actually played a decent game. The rest of the games in the market including Skyrim, Fallout are garbage. 10/10 for The Witcher 3. This game had me hooked for 60+hours.

I bought this game for my husband for Christmas and it was a huge hit. He loves it so much that he has barely been playing anything else, including the new wii u we got! His brother immediately went out and bought it as well because of how much he raved about it. It's nice and long and there is tons to do so it'd hard to get bored. The graphics and storyline are pretty sweet too.

Bought this on Boxing Day 2015. Shipping took awhile from Walmart but the game is amazing. The world is beautiful and the game mechanics is great. There are a few glitches here and there but overall a very enjoyable game. Plus the game comes with a lot of free DLCs.

The game has a huge open world and many side quests to keep you open. The only negative so far is that in the early stages of the game you are low level and have to fight mobs that are much higher levels.

I took a bit of a leap of faith for this game, and it did not disappoint. I bought a Ps4 for this game (not entirely, but mainly) and it was worth every penny. If you're a fan of adventure games like The Legend of Zelda, but crave a more vast and lively world and meaningful side quests, then you should definitely try this game out. Be forewarned, however, that there is quite an intense amount of vulgarity and gore involved in the world of The Witcher, and it's not something you can just avoid, as dialogue is a very important aspect of the game. Also, if you are unsure whether or not you should play the other two Witcher games, the answer is you don't need to at all. I never played the first two, and I dove into the story with ease. If you choose to do the same as I did, I highly recommend doing just a bit of research on characters and the back-story, it will further your understanding. If you really want to fully understand everything though, then most people recommend playing the first two games first or reading the books. A bit of a lengthy review, but I'm just trying to help out those of you who are on the fence about this game. Enjoy!
