theory 11 Medallion Themed Playing Cards

I just received these cards, and let me tell you, they are wonderful. They have a different feel that appears thinner but has the same wonderful snap! As other people have stated, the Medallions are the only playing cards that look good with brown. Great tuck box too. Overall, these cards are great!

This deck is awesome! I do not like brown. It is my least favourite colour. But, somehow, it looks amazing on this deck. The tuck case is absolutely beautiful. I love how there is embossing even on the plain brown open areas. This is added detail you only see very close up, or, you feel. The inside of the tuck case is plain. The card backs have that same amazingly intricate scrollwork design. These are truly beautiful and look great when the card is spinning. The pips are standard, which is an important feature for some applications. The identical jokers have beautiful medallions on them. The royals intrigue me. At first glance, they look very standard, as well. But, a closer look reveals these are custom. I really like these. I'm new to cardistry. So, I can't say how they handle but, from what I hear, they handle amazingly. I almost didn't get this deck because I'm not a fan of brown. But, I'm very glad I did!

The Medallions are an absolutely world class deck of cards. I love the ultra lux material used for the tuck box as it feels delightful to touch. The designs are simply breath-taking. The cards faro perfectly and the stock is fantastic to handle. The colors are spectacular and the custom courts are refreshingly innovative. Once again t11 offers ridiculously low prices for such a high class set of cards; thank you for this majestic deck!

Although this deck didn’t draw me in as quickly as the others I saw (and eventually bought), the Medallions deck is my favourite Theory11 deck by a long shot. I love everything about this deck: the brownish/coppery colour; the thick textured tuck box; the intricate Ace of Spades and Joker designs; the double-backed card; but my absolute favourite are the Royals. Their unique but traditional look draws me in, but the faces - especially the queens, are mesmerizing. Will be buying more of this deck for sure.

Just received my Medallions decks and WOW! What a wonderfully design deck of cards. I've collected a few hundred decks of cards over the past years from various dealers and have had to deal with the unbalanced design of decks. Some having phenomenal tuck cases just to find the deck of cards to be lacking in style, or vise versa, but not with this deck. From the lux paper choice, to the new interpretation on the court cards, I find the Medallions deck to be one of the best designed deck I've seen here at theory11. Well worth the money at twice the price.

What a fantastic deck! Theory11 did an amazing job crafting these. The artwork on the tuck box and the back of the cards is outstanding! The ultra-smooth finish and quality card stock give the deck that extra sense of luxury! Overall a great deck and a must-buy for anyone reading this review!

I really love the tuck box outer design, card backing art work and the young-looking court cards with their custom tunics. Very original. I ordered these along with a pair of red and blue Aristocrats and noticed that the rest of the cards have the exact same font type and size - very traditional and high visibility but nothing out of the ordinary, which is too bad. Some more customizing with those cards plus some inner tuck box design would have had this deck easily in my top three, to be used only on special occasions. As it is, its still a very fine deck as all TXI sets are and this will be a set that gets a lot of use. Nice addition to the collection.

Even after all of this time, I still find this to be my favorite deck from Theory11. The brown/gold color combination complements each other amazingly and the artwork makes this deck great for every use case. Don't sleep on this one, definitely a must-own.

I only got these in yesterday and I usually put cards through at least a week of testing before forming an opinion on them. You know that feeling you get when you open deck and you can just tell that a particular deck is going to be amazing? I got that immediately with Medallions. This is going to my top 10 alongside decks like Monarchs and Smoke and Mirrors. Superb cards. Balanced, lightweight, controllable and virtually broken in straight out of the box.

I got this deck from my local card store, and immediately opened and felt the cards. At first the long side edges of the cards felt a bit rough but after breaking them in it handles beautiful. The tuck case and back design is detailed and wonderful. It made a way to my top 5 must have cards!
