This is sooooo nice for the surgery I had. I usually use ice on my shoulder, but sometimes heat is better, especially BEFORE doing my physical therapy exercises. Heat is not recommended for post-operative pain relief, put I'm at the stage where I'm 3 months post-op and sometimes my shoulder just aches and the heat feels better than ice for aching. I use it sometimes to warm up my muscles before I do the exercises, then I use ice after the exercises. Sometimes I work at a computer at work as I'm on light duty for a while, and I come home with sore shoulders and neck, as I'm not used to spending so much time on a computer, and this heating pad is the cat's meow.

i LOVE THIS HEATING PAD WRAP BECUASE AT 88 I AM USUALLY COLD BUT HATE WEARING A COAT OF HEAVY SWEATER ALL THE TIME. iT IS LARGE ENOUGH TO COVER MY SHOULDERS WITH WARM COMFORT. iT IS A TAD AWKWARD TO GET WITHOUT MESSING UP A HAIRDO BUT WORTH THE EFFORT.

Other heating pads have had an automatic shut-off, so that feature is not the big issue for me. But others have broken down when I keep trying to get them over my shoulders, and this one fits perfectly, has a better controller, is so soft and comfortable I might even wear it when I'm not cold. Being a beautiful shade of blue is an extra treat, too.

This is by far & away the best heating pad I've had to treat soreness/stiffness in my neck & shoulders. It stays in place on the neck and on the shoulders due to the snap closure. Very well made. 3 heat settings. Heats for 2 hours, or until you turn in off, & then automatically stops heating, making it safe to use when you fall asleep. I have 2 and use one for our therapy table during my daily one hour session of PT. Excellent product!!

My Husband LOVES IT!!! ;-)))) It is so important to him to have this Heating Pad. He has a Neck Condition w/a Pinched nerve that has caused such awful PAIN for 3 months now..........HE NEEDS this Heating Pad!!! It has brought such RELIEF FOR HIM!!! I love it. With severe arthritis and constant pain, I turn it on and it relaxes and soothes . I use it every night for at least 2 hours and I sleep so much better.

If you've been looking for a heating pad, you know that the majority of them are 12" x 15" or 1 2" x 2 4" for an Extra Large . This one is actually large. It covers the whole back And the neck and shoulders. It works beautifully. We love it.

My only problem is that it is very hard to put the snaps together at the neck it takes many, many tries so that it will get together ... It is not a good item if you have mobility problems.....or hand problems...

Bought it and returned it in the same week!! The size was nice and it was so soft but it stop working and read error. Save your money and buy a well known brand like sunbeam!!
