This is my second TheraIce product- and also now my favorite. I struggle with inflammation in my hips, especially at night because I'm a side sleeper who refuses to turn lol. Do not freeze it without putting it in the bag- I've yet to do it but I can't imagine fridge smell is nice. It's a really good size, and covers my torso almost all the way when it's long ways. IT IS HEAVY WHEN FROZEN. It stays cold almost all night especially if I cover it with a blanket to reduce the direct cold- it gets COLD, by the way, almost hard to touch directly. I usually thaw it for about ten minutes. But I HIGHLY recommend this, or any TheraIce products, to anyone.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a really neat product! The ice pack is almost like a frozen memory foam. Because it's not ice, it can contour to the body. I have thick thighs, and it covered my thigh. It feels very nice because there is weight to it- like the pressure of a weighted blanket. I froze it and then let it thaw and then refroze it, and it still works perfectly. I have noticed a few frozen crystals form on the fabric, but it didn't affect anything. This is a really cool product and I highly recommend it.

It was made in a way to deliver a lot of benefits: the thin design allows it to chill quickly and roll into a smaller area to store. The pack is slick and feels good on my skin, and the weight gives a little pressure to the sore spots that feels good and keeps the chill closer against my skin. It covers a large area which is more helpful than other cold type packs. It is also reuseable which makes it more cost effective.

I can't keep it in the freezer due to limited space, so it's best to freeze it when needed. One of its best features is that it doesn't wet the skin, even when frozen. Until now, I was using a regular ice pack, which was difficult to keep cold for an extended period and tended to leak. This product has resolved both issues.
