Thermo-Hose Ice-Free Heated Water Hose

I bought this hose with the hope that it would remediate miserable attempts to drain and unfreeze my hoses used for water buckets. I can't imagine not having it now! It thaws very quickly and I have not had any issues with it....it is very tough and durable and I would highly recommend!! Worth the $ to save the hassle!!

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago, we have had below freezing temps and subzero wind chills since it arrived. It has worked amazingly! I keep it in the barn, so it is somewhat protected. The only part that will freeze is the nozzle, which I keep covered/insulated when not in use. I have no regrets on this purchase, so far it has made winter chores so much easier!

This heated hose is fantastic. It is heavy duty, heats up quickly and makes filling the stock tank in sub freezing weather so easy. Money very well spent.

I bought this a month ago after dealing with frozen hoses inside my barn on days when the temperature was down close to zero, and I'm so glad I did. I leave it plugged in, so all I have to do is attach it to the hydrant and use it! It stays flexible and does not kink easily either. Sure beats hauling water from the house!

I have had this hose for several years and it has saved a lot of time in watering horses in Indiana. I leave it plugged in but disconnect from the hydrant inside my barn after each use. I use a quick connect sprayer and carry the sprayer in my jacket pocket. I now need an additional length so I am ordering a 20 foot rubber hose. My hose has withstood the occasion horse foot stepping on it. I would not recommend multiple hooves pounding on it. Common sense!!

This hose is awesome! I no longer have to drag my hose in twice a day to keep it from freezing! I can leave this plugged in and hook it up to my faucet when I need to run the water. Of course you can't leave it attached to the faucet...my faucet is not heated so why would like think it would not freeze right there like others have commented??? Crazy! Great product K&H!!!!

We use one of these hoses attached to a frost-free hydrant out near the livestock. When the yard hydrant is closed - the water in the pipe drains down below ground & will not freeze above ground. For added protection - we sometimes run heat - tape (available at all hardware stores) wrapped around the above-ground hydrant pipe. Use foam pipe insulation over heat-tape & hydrant pipe - duct tape closed & the water will always flow during the coldest weather.

This hose has been a life saver for us out here in the cold long Montana winters! We are able to water all our outside animals with ease! Great product that is built great! We leave ours hooked up to the yard hydrants too! Love this! We have one hose and I'm buying 2 more!!!

Used this a few times and it has worked every time! Really easy and helpful for the barn, especially in the colder months!

The instructions INSIDE the box states the hose must be removed from the faucet after every use. I regret that this is not listed on the advertising, only inside the box, when its already at your house, and in need of. The connector on the hose does not heat up. Your faucet will freeze if left connected. If you don't mind screwing on and off hoses in cold temps, this is the hose for you.
