Invaluable kitchen tool. Easy to read display large numbers and backlight. Temp is accurate. Easy to use and I love that it's waterproof so I can wash it without worrying about getting anything other than the probe wet. I have had several others that have shorted out after just a tiny bit of water got on them. Good value.

I have used this several times and it's accurate and easy to use. Good value for the money but not sure how long the battery will last, haven't had it that long.

This is a very reliable brand. i purchased same brand over 5 years ago and it is still accurate. Temperature reading is fast, clean up is easy.

Bought this as a backup to a TP19HW which has served me well. While cleaning, I pulled the probe out of the unit. After stuffing the wiring and sensor back into the probe and reattaching, it appeared to be just fine but felt a backup would be wise. Decided on this one. Seemed to have the same features.. Figured a newer model at the same price was a good deal. Stuck both in a 160 degree cup of coffee this morning and they read within .2 degrees F of each other. Didn't notice that it wasn't magnetic. My bad. Bought a magnetic hook and it now resides on the side of the fridge with the others.

This thermometer does not work maintain the temperature. I placed it in an empty measuring cup and the temperature changed several times;when placed in cup of hot water it did not register at all.
