Have tried other thermos styles and this one is very kid friendly with opening and closing. Perfect size for elementary age. Food stays hot. Easy to wash. Just make sure you have a brush to be able to get into the cap to clean it to avoid mold. Recommend this style and brand

It has worked out well for our family. I mostly use it for my 14yr old daughter who does not like to eat school lunch. I am now able to send her with leftovers from our dinner the evening before. The portion for her is perfect. ** This is not a portion for most adults. For adults I would recommend bumping up to at least the next size up.

My husband and I each have one and we put our daily homemade kefir in it for our smoothies at work. Works perfectly and stays cold until we drink them!!

It is perfect. I think they should also create another edition without plastic on the bottom or maybe without plastic at all. I understand why it is there but if it wasn't there it could be used as a mini pot on a mini cooker as well.

10-year-old son says it keeps.his lunch warm until 12:40 every day. I fill it with boiling water for a few minutes around 640 a.m and place lunch inside after. Would recommend!

This thermos does exactly what it says. I pack it everyday with hot items and it stays hot for hours until lunch time. It doesn't leak and is a very sturdy thermos. Ive dropped it and it didn't even dent either.

Thermos work great. I Did as someone suggested and filled it with hot water while I was warming up my kids spaghettios. It is a 10 ounce thermos so an entire spaghettios can will not fit, but that is okay because my 7 year old can not eat an entire can of spaghetios anyway. Spaghetios are 15 oz. cans by the way. Hope this helps. I also got another 16 oz. thermo and it works just as good.

We first bought these when my kids went to school and they were used every other week for the entire school year. One of them finally lost the seal after being used for 3 school years! I would highly recommend. We just bought a new one to replace broken one.

When I first received the thermos, I put it aside as it was for my granddaughter for school, so I didn't see it right away. However, when I did take it out to wash and ready for school, I found a gooey like brown substance in the bottom that I thought was some kind of oil. Still don't know what it was, but when I checked lid, it seemed to be imbedded in the recesses of the lid! I tried to clean it, but was not happy with how it smelled after. So I tossed it in the trash! I didn't bother to return, too much effort, but I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED! I expect the occasional overripe fruit on my grocery order. However, this coupled with the fact that I've been getting a lot of “very close to expiration dates” on my groceries and this used thermos has me reconsidering keeping my Walmart plus acct. up to this point, I've really enjoyed the convenience, but not at the expense of safety of products. I really think you need to double check what you're sending out—especially to people who pay extra for the service! Your quality control is almost non existent as far as I can tell. P. S. The label on the thermos was so stuck to the stainless outside that I had to use a scrubby to get it off. Stored improperly?! Stop sending out the battered, bruised up stuff to your customers choosing delivery!

I needed a container that kept my food hot for about 4 to 4 1/2 hours. This did not. First, I tried soup which was close to boiling when I put it in the container, and 4 1/2 hours later it was "cold". I thought that might have been because it was a thin liquid. Then I tried chili which was close to boiling when I put it in and 4 1/2 hours later it was "cold". For the price and shipping cost of this product, it was worth taking a chance, but I just don't want others to order it and be disappointed as well.
