Thetford 96689 Waste Holding Tank Treatment for 40 Gallon Tanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have ha a liquid treatment for the RV holding tank and it is easy to use and no worrying about it dissolving and doing its job. The scent is very pleasant and I have enjoyed not having the old chemical odor to deal with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just returned from an extended Labor Day trip in the RV, so I was able to test 3 different varieties made by Thetford. I will say that Aqua Max by far takes the cake. It was a hot trip, so it did not smell throughout the 3 days it lasted, and when we emptied the tank, it was pure liquid. It broke down our waste without having any clumps or leftover smells. I would definitely use this product again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our black tank was solid concrete with toilet paper.. we poured some of this down into the tank and waited overnight.. did it again in the morning and waited a couple hours and it flushed out completely.. we didn't even use half the bottle. It took very little to resolve our problems! Oh, and the smell WAS NOT BAD.. it wasn't flowery, but it sure smelt better

Although I have not used the liquid, I don't for see that being any different than the granular form. I would think the liquid form would be easier to use but do not plan on using that for about another couple of weeks. The scent of the liquid is the same as the granular and I am sure it will produce the same results that the granular did. I was happy with the granular product and I'm sure I will be just as happy with this liquid form. I would recommend this product to others.

The liquid is easy to use. Has a nice scent, and you don't have to worry about it dissolving. We haven't had any issues with switching to this brand. Overall, pretty happy with it.

The scent pretty good, not overbearing, but had more of a salt aroma than expected. Not bad, just diffrent. Looks like the product did it's job, just not a fan of the specific scent.

Although the intended use is a holding tank in RV I used this in my holding tank on my commode in my bathroom to freshen waste down the drain and eliminate odor! The summer cypress scent is light and nice! It seems like an outdoor scent that stimulates with bursts of freshening seasonal air! It stays in the holding tank and freshens for a while! It leaves a slight color change to the water that matches the scent which is a greenish blue! It is affordable and great for traveling holding tanks too anywhere!
