Thetford Aqua-Magic Style II RV Toilet, Low, Bone, 42063,12.1"x20"x15"

Great quality, all the parts were there. We have installed one before, so we knew how to. It would be nice to have a little clearer instructions on some of the parts. Otherwise super great quality.

Not installed yet but it is the exact product replacement for Motorhome original Thetford model was %2342053 low rise. Thetford's new model number is 42059. Identical replacement. 👍

Faster shipping than said

This was the replacement for my Thetford 42070 toilet. So easy just turned off the water, unhooked the water hose from the toilet, unbolted the old toilet - removed it and after wiping down the drain and putting the rubber seal on sat the new toilet in, bolted it down, hooked up the water hose and turned on the water. Checked for leaks. Ta da done.

The bowl was not ceramic. The total toilet was plastic. Do not know if the plastic toilet will endure the hot and cold weather while traveling. Was very disappointed, but item was installed in our RV before I had a chance to view it. If I could, I would disassemble it and return it for a toilet with a ceramic bowl and stand.

I like the ceramic bowl. Once installed it is very pretty for a toilet. I like the dual action pedal. I dislike that it is somewhat heavy for a RV toilet. Thetford made things worse by making the base plastic. So it is actually TOP heavy. Furthermore, the bottom plastic half and the upper ceramic bowl kind of “slide lock” into place, but the locking tabs are very flimsy. Terrible design for a RV toilet since it will be bouncing around when in motion and the two halves will quickly separate, making an absolute mess of everything. Before install, I separated the two halves and put a significant amount of silicone between the contact points, then reattached. I feel like this is a necessary step that should have been done at the factory (Thetford, are you listening??) Also, the hand spray function does not work for me. Haven't even figured that out yet…

arrived with cracked toilet bowl. returned

My toilet was shipped to me and arrived completely BROKEN in half...Walmart REFUSES 2x now to give me a return shipping label, stating I AM REQUIRED TO RETURN IT TO A PHYSICAL STORE...I don't have a car and I CANNOT PICK UP THE huge 40 pound box!! Horrible way to treat me, a long-time customer!!
