They Were Expendable (Commemorative Amaray) (DVD Full Screen) [DVD]

John Wayne is one of my all time favorite actors. This is a great action movie.

Easy and fast

Older Movie but just as good today as when it first released

as expected and on time delivery

A new branch of the Navy (PT Boats) based on Cavite, Manila, looking to prove their military value, get their chance when Pearl Harbor is attacked. This is a story about how a company of men, piloting just four fast and unusual craft, bond together as friends and shipmates to retaliate against the enemy and prove just how deadly their fragile ships are. Robert Montgomery, John Wayne and Donna Reed lead a list of fine actors in heartfelt performances. Battle scenes are so realistic and so well done, you feel as if you are there. In 1941 and 1942, as the Pacific strongholds gradually fall to the Japanese, sad choices are made between those military personnel who are and aren't "expendable".

This to was a very good movie, One of my favorites. It too would stick and I could not get it to go on at all. Only played in once, will try again in the near future to see if I can finish the movie. I don't understand why the movie stops and will not go forward or reverse, just stayed there.
