The Envioromental Working Group (EWG) rates the safet of skincare and cleaning products. Their highest rating is EWG Verified. Thinkskids Thanksport was the only reasonably priced, EWG Verified sunscreen.
My daughter and I enjoyed the smell. Its texture makes it easy to apply and absorb.
This is a great sunscreen for our family. One of our kids has fair skin and burns easily, and the other has a skin condition that makes him prone to developing rashes, so we need effective sunscreen that is also gentle for sensitive skin. This one covers those bases, and is easy to apply evenly to skin. It also smells great (like an orange creamsicle), and I love that it is biodegradable, reef safe, and cruelty-free. My husband and I have also used it and it works well for us. Also, in case you are wondering, we have used this and the Thinkbaby suncreen, and they seem the same to me. #sweepstakes
My kids have used this all summer at camp where they swim twice a day. I did a lot of research on ESG ratings and safety and like that this one blocks a high amount of UVA and UVB rays. It's not too greasy and not too much white cast after you rub it in. And it smells great! #sweepstakes
I started buying this sunscreen for my son a few years ago. We now buy 3-4 bottles at a time because our whole family uses it on a daily basis. We have never had an issue with sunburns, and we have never had any sort of reaction to it. Thank you for making such a great product!
I have used this sunscreen for several years on my now 5 yr old granddaughter and it has always been the one that when you need it to work, you use. I have another backup that I will use around 5pm or so if we aren't going to be out too long and sun isn't strong so I can save my Think for the times I absolutely need it to protect. I now have 2 new grandbabies (9 and 10 mos) and I just bought tubes for both their houses as well. I watch one of them weekly and had her out yesterday and their skin is so fragile, you just pray it won't fail and it is so nice to bring her in and see that her skin is the color a baby's should be! As a side note, I am in love with the scent!
This is all I've used on a consistent basis with my daughter. When I've tried to switch to other brands she ends up with a burn or itchy bumps. The only issue is she doesn't get a tan when we use this. Even tho she is on the swim team she is super pale. But at her age I'm more interested in saving her skin and if I forget to reapply in 90 minutes I know she'll be okay.
For the past few years we've been using Thinksport Kids for our whole family, including parents. Great and safe protection that we can share. This summer we'll also be trying out the kids spray and stick versions, very confident we'll be as equally satisfied!
#sweepstakes I was looking for something nontoxic and found think recommended on the EWG website. I tried several other brands, however they are very difficult to rub in. My 7 year old reported she loves it and it's much easier than the others to rub in. No sun burns and non toxic. Perfect for us!
I really wanted to love this sunscreen. It came so highly recommended, has an ingredient list I take no issue with, and appears to be one of the only sunscreens that claims to be reef-safe and actually is. Unfortunately, I'm extremely disappointed with the product itself. I'm extremely pale to begin with but, when I wear this, people I barely know will stop me in the streets to comment on how white I look. It badly stains all my clothes, leaves white streaks all over any vehicle I get into and, despite being told that I need to reapply it every couple of hours for proper sun protection, can nevertheless spend my entire day ruining every single surface I touch, following a single AM application. I will happily revisit this product if it ever gets reformulated but will not be repurchasing it until it does.
