The GPS dongle adds pertinent information to the video recordings. It works well adding time speed and location. This data may be important in the event of an accident.

Great little product. Works exactly as I expected. The Chat folks were very helpful in making sure the unit was compatible with my model dashcam. Shipping was very fast!

GPS works. Item #1 issue I have with it is you can't shut the audio off totally. You always hear it. Item #2 is if you are on a highway and pass a traffic light with a camera that is on a different road you get the alert even though you are not on that road. Any traffic light camera within .1 miles will give this GPS unit an alert weather you on that road or another. Annoying. Also the reason for item #1.

Only warm me if there is a traffic light camera. It doesn't give me anything else. Maybe there is not too much explanation on how to use it. Don't see its purpose.
