So far, seems great. This is my second Thinkware dashcam (bought earlier version two years ago). they are a bit bulky and strange since the components are separate (e.g. GPS is a tiny plug-in modular unit, unlike the more common "built in" gps). However, this means I can replace any individual part if it dies, as opposed to just having to throw out the whole thing. if it is anything like it's predecessor, it will be durable and reliable, but time will tell. I'm happy with my purchase

Took it to audio shop for installation. Works smoothly, connectivity using the application is seamless. Would definitely suggest this dashcam.

I like the design and functionalities. It works well and is easy to use. The only thing I didn't like was that I purchased this when it wasn't on sale or discounted.

I was hit by a law enforcement officer. The responding officer took our statements of the event and decided it was a no fault accident (ie. not my fault. not the law enforcement officer's fault). I objected. The responding officer then sent the footage from this device to a crash analyst who stated that the accident was the law enforcement office's fault. This device made the difference. I will never drive my own car without a dash cam.

Outstanding customer service outstanding products. Would highly recommend this company. They also stand behind their products. I had an old dash cam that was eight years old. It finally quit working. I called about it and they gave me a promotion for like 30% off and I bought a new one. What a great way to stand behind your product.

Great camera with the GPS my customer loves it

Connecting to the app on the phone was difficult.

Install was easy. Front camera tucks up nicely behind my rear view mirror. Camera quality is fine for the price. App setup is easy and let's you configure settings quickly. Rear camera is also great size and has plenty of cable to connect to front camera. I like that they are big enough that you can see them if you are looking, but not so large that they are imposing and obvious.

Latest Update for IOS 18 users. There have been numerous reports that when Apple updated their IOS to 18, they are unable to view "Live View," and or Video Recordings. Instead, they get a black screen. The recommended fix was to (Disable Cellular) which did nothing for me. The software is outdated. The CC is dated 2022. What is Thinkware Dash Cam Link "Legacy". Which cameras are compatible, and which cameras are not ????? The software engineers really need to get on the ball when it comes to multiple devices on Bluetooth, and WIFI connectivity. I have to turn off my head unit in order to connect to the app. Installation of the front camera was a tad tricky. Especially since the lens is far right of the camera's front. I like my view to be as centered as possible. My former car cam was vertical in design, which made it a lot easier to center it. Installation of the back camera was a snap. Centering was much easier. The major draw back to this camera is reflection. I can see my dashboard, and my back deck on a clear sunny day. This is not displayed in any of Thinkware's videos. My former camera offered an anti-glare lens to minimize this problem. Thinkware has not. I didn't bother with the GPS, for the fact my head unit has GPS built in.

Parking surveillance mode doesn't work well. My vehicle was recently hit while park and the cam didn't pickup anything
