The all in one!

Sierra September 10, 2026

This has it all for music listening! It scans local stations automatically and saves them as presets, which makes it easy to listen to radio: no need to search for stations yourself. You can flip through stations using the buttons or the remote. It can play music from a CD or a USB drive. Sound quality is great too. As a cute bonus, the screen greets you with a "HELLO" when you turn it on and a "BYE BYE" when you turn it off.

BIG sound

david September 10, 2026

This stereo sounds WAY bigger than it is. The sound is very full with good bass clarity, similar to a waveguide radio. Everything can be done from the remote and the basics can also be done from the panel. Bluetooth connection and USB file recognition were both fast. The FM reception and digital tuning are good. It comes with an end-fed wire antenna for the radio. The antenna connector on the radio will allow for a dipole or pre-amp antenna, which I recommend for pulling in far away stations.

Impressive Sound and Plenty of Ways to Listen

Diana September 11, 2026

I received this stereo yesterday and waited until I had spent most of the day using it before writing my review. My first impression was that it looked nice, but after trying it out, what impressed me more was how much functionality THINKYA managed to put into one compact system. The sound is one of its strongest points. It is rated at 36W RMS and has two 3-inch bass units. In plain English, it doesn't sound like a little clock radio just because it has a smaller footprint. The music has a fuller sound with noticeable bass, and I was pleasantly surprised by what comes out of a single cabinet without separate speakers or a subwoofer taking up additional room. I also really like that I'm not limited to one way of listening. I can play CDs, stream wirelessly through Bluetooth 5.3, listen to FM radio, or use USB or AUX. The FM radio can store up to 40 presets. There is also a headphone jack when you don't want everyone else hearing what you're listening to, plus a line output for connecting compatible external audio equipment. That combination makes this much more versatile than a basic Bluetooth speaker. The CD player is front-loading, which I prefer because I don't have to leave extra clearance above the stereo to open a lid. The main controls are right on the unit, and it also comes with a remote, so I'm not constantly getting up to change something. The LED display includes a clock and alarm as well. Another thing I appreciate is the all-in-one design. The black wood-look cabinet is simple and clean, and there aren't separate speakers and wires to arrange around the room. It gives me the features of a traditional home stereo in a much more manageable package. After using it for most of a day, I think the best way to describe the JA-318 is old-school listening options with modern convenience. I can still enjoy a CD collection without giving up Bluetooth streaming, and I also have FM, USB and AUX available when I want them. If you're expecting the output of a large component stereo with a dedicated subwoofer, that isn't what this is. But if you want a compact all-in-one home stereo with surprisingly substantial sound and several genuinely useful ways to listen, this one makes a lot of sense. I'm very happy with my experience so far.

Good all in one stereo unit.

Angelo September 13, 2026

The Thinkya is a high quality, heavy stereo unit that I connected to my tv using a converter box for $10 from Walmart. I like all the features of this unit except for two, so that's why I took off one star. 1. When the Line-In setting is in use, the display says Line-In instead of reverting to the clock. 2. The Line-in volume is set to a maximum of 32, which is too low for music videos and my DVD player. Why can I blast the FM band and the CD player at high volume and not the line-in to my tv? The small footprint makes it easy to fit in small spaces. All in all happy with the purchase.
