This Is Spinal Tap (Blu-ray)

I had been meaning to see this movie for a long time, because I am a big fan of Happy Days/Laverne and Shirley, and Lenny, Michael McKean was in it, as well as pal Harry Shearer, who was a writer for Happy/L%26S. And I love rock and all music in general. The movie was such fun, and the Big Bottom song was nothing short of hilarious. It was cool to see a young Fran Drescher in one of her earliest rolls as the music agent, and even cooler to see all the locations along the road it was filmed at in the United States, like the Westin in Atlanta. I absolutely love the line about Spinal Tap's record being promoted at KMart in the analog age, because that's where I first started collecting CD's with my spending money, KMart. I bought this movie in honor of Robbie Reiner's "Meathead Stivic" unspeakable passing and awesome character, director Marty Dibergi. I plan to watch the remake from Summer '25 as well. Michael McKean is our last surviving "Lone Wolf" from the main characters on Laverne and Shirley, and even some on Happy Days. Enjoy the movie!

Husband wanted and loved movie

Everyone needs to see the movie at least once as it's constantly quoted. Classic Rock and Roll comedy. It still holds up even after decades.

True-to-life “rockumentary” that shows the rise and fall (and rise again) of a rock band. Terrific cast! I read that several rockers (including Led Zeppelin) related to this fictional band. Great stuff!
