Thomas and Friends set
I love how they offer a variety of different Thomas and Friends sets. My son is absolutely obsessed. I know he's going to beyond excited comes Christmas morning.

A good value for a Thomas the Tank train set.
Great value Thomas the Tank with one small issue. First the good. The set is easy to set up and the track layout holds together, so you can move it around locations without much effort. The figure 8 layout with bridge works. I considered other Thomas the Tank sets when I purchased this one for my grandson and found it to be one of the better values. The issue I have is that when using the sail boat attachment, you must raise and lower the bridge each time the train passes under the bridge. This is difficult for the younger children to do each time Thomas and friend goes around. The sail can not be removed from the boat, making it almost useless as a track car. I would recommend that the sail could be removed or lowered so the train can move under the bridge while in motion. My grandson who is 2, plays hours with the train set, but does not understand the concept of raising and lowering the bridge or simply just wants to see the train run freely around the track.

Overpriced/Costly!! Hoping it's cool! (Was a gift.
Bobby's Mom says he Loves it, esp'ly the Bridge Lift! Lol I didn't see/feel it outside of the packaging since it was a gift. So, I don't even know if it's well -made !?! But it better be well made because this and the train w/the Gold Roman Helmet (train only) cost near $50! Do you believe that??!?

Cute Set, but Thomas doesn't run
Purchased this for our 5 year old grandson. Cute set. He was excited to play with it, but we were all very disappointed that the battery operated Thomas didn't work properly and wouldn't run well enough to go around on the track.
