Thomas & Friends Giant Whistling Thomas from Fisher-Price, Large-Scale Engine with Push-Button Sound

10/10 Thomas toy! For any fans of Thomas the tank engine young or old this is a must have. The quality feels great. The whistle is fun to play with and overall is highly detailed. Would higly recommend!

I love the bigger version of the little trains that we have, the only thing that I would change about this is to make the little whistle louder. You can't get a hard enough push to make the whistle blow loud enough, which is a little disappointing, but overall we absolutely love this toy!

This train has the ideal size for our boys: it is difficult to get it lost around the house and doesn't take too much space either. The extra compartment in the back is a big hit as they like to fit their other toys back there. They also like the air horn, and as the parent, I like that it doesn't require batteries to make a choo sound. The only concern I have is that our 15 month old might break the black roof off if it's hinges since he plays rough. So far though, it has held up and the toy feels sturdy.

The compartment is perfect for toddlers who love sorting and packing. The realistic movement on the wheels is fun to watch!

The wheels roll smoothly and the back opens up for a little storage area that has fun details! The overall paint job looks really good. I love that it doesn't require any batteries but you can still make a train sound by pressing down on the top. It could maybe be difficult for smaller toddlers to press it however.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about this toy and its simplicity. Turned out to be very popular with 2 and 4 year old girls. The 2 year old liked putting stuff in the coal storage area, even found my car keys in there! The 4 year old really liked pushing it around in the floor and pushing the whistle button. The face is so cute, definitely Thomas. The 2 year old did try to ride the toy, but it held up! I kind of wish it came with something to put inside the coal area. The kids dad says he would've liked it to have a coupler to add a caboose or something.

The train rolls easily on the floor with the train wheels moving together which feels realistic. The manual whistling is a very cool mechanism but it does need a good push to make a good sound. The storage compartment on the back is great to put some smaller toy like little figures. Great Thomas the train toy and hoping there will be other characters too.

Hero has quickly become one of the favorite trains to play with. The details on the train are really nice, and it looks just like the character from the show, which makes pretend play even more fun. I love that it's easy for little hands to hold, push, and play with. It rolls smoothly on the tracks and has held up really well through lots of playtime, crashes, and adventures around the house. My child loves creating different stories with Hero and the other Thomas trains, and I love seeing their imagination grow while they play. It's a sturdy, fun addition to any Thomas & Friends collection and a great choice for little ones who love trains. Definitely a toy that gets used often in our house, and I'm happy we added it to the collection.

I'm a huge fan of no battery toys, it's a bonus that it still makes the authentic train whistle sound when you push down in the top. My son loves using the storage compartment for his smaller toys. He's a big fan of pushing Thomas around the house and sometimes trying to ride him!
