Thomas & Friends MINIS 2019 Advent Calendar

This is wonderful! I wanted to do an Advent calendar with my grandson, who is 2. He loves Thomas so it was a no-brainer. Every day he got to open a new mini engine. Every day! He didn't really ever play with the cardboard scenery, but he still plays with those mini engines!

We got these for the Quarantine. It is really delightful. The box has a front flap that makes a little train-track to play on and my son is SO loving having a new engine. So far, it is almost all engines. It could be improved by adding characters, more wagons (and maybe doubling the cardboard track). But every morning during this quarantine, he's gotten one and it has been wonderful for us.

Purchased after the holidays on clearance - using as incentive to complete school work as schools are closed for pandemic. Works like a charm. Not sure I would have paid full price for it - but definitely a good deal and gives my grandson a reason to get his work done!

My son is a long time Thomas fan and even though this is a 2019 calendar and it's 2022, i don't think he'll mind.

This was a gift for our grandson, who is an avid Thomas collector. He and his parents were very happy with the calendar.

My little one loves trains (especially Thomas) so I knew I had to get this product. What better way to countdown to Xmas as well as get a cute Thomas mini everyday? These minis are great and provide tons of fun to train lovers. They are well detailed in Christmas colors and not cheaply made. They are awesome. I can't wait to have them all opened up. I will definitely save them and make mini ornaments once my kids are older. Must buy!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My 3 year old grandson loves this. He looks forward to opening the next door each morning. He has it set up on the table so he can play with them on the printed tracks during the day, then tucks them back in their compartments at the end of the day so he can take them back out the next morning. For Christmas, he's getting a spiral stunt track that fits the minis for a special finish.

This Thomas the Train advent calendar came just in the nick of time, right before Dec 1. When my son saw this he was overjoyed! Of course he wanted to open every window but he is being patient. The first few trains have been very well received by him. The only issue is that the connecting points to link the trains together is not made very well. If you are on a low pile carpet the trains will not stay together. My son has to play with the linked trains on hardwood floor in order for the trains to stay together. My son loved the christmas minis! The packaging was hard for him to open by himself though so I had to help him. Maybe next year make it a little easier for the kids to open them on their own.
