Big World! Big Adventures! isn't a bad movie, but it's obvious that Mattel wants to change the franchise in a major way to boost toy sales. That drags this movie down tremendously and gets in the way of the wonderful characters, history, and mythology that had become the forefront of Seasons 17-21. As for the DVD itself, Thomas looks better in high definition. A Blu-ray would have been much, much better. The DVD doesn't have a French audio track, nor does it have English subtitles. That is very disappointing. Most of the other Thomas DVDs/Blu-rays from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment have them (or at least a French audio option). Overall, I can't quite recommend it, even to the target audience. Some good songs though.

WORST THOMAS MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was worse than Misty Island Rescue, Thomas and the magic railroad and Journey Beyond Sodor all combined! The bouncing, the story and Ace are the 3 main reasons why this movie fails! Worst Thomas movie ever. F---------------

Not safe for kids eyes
This is the first Thomas the train movie we have purchased that had skimpy dressed women pictured in it several times. If we could return it we would! Keep trash like this away from kids!!!
