Thomas & Friends TrackMaster 5-in-1 Track Builder Set

Love this toy, not fancy but it works and bring the old memory of childhood, feeling young.

Besides my husband taking about an hour to put this together for our 2 year old son. Its great. There are a lot of pieces to sort through depending on what kind of track you want to display but its worth it. I will say that if you knock it or have to make it, it will come apart and you will have to reassemble. Luckily it wouldn't take you an hour. The joy it will be bring is worth the effort.

I purchased this online for my grandson's forth birthday and it was at the store the next day. Very convenient when one considers I live in FL and my daughter and grandson live in RI. He loves it and it can be set up in a few different ways. My daughter told me set up is easy.

This was a gift for my grand daughter who loves everything Thomas. It was the perfect gift that will keep her busy for hours and being able to change track configuration is fantastic. She gets tired of one layout you just make a different one. You can also purchase additional track to make the layout larger. For small children that enjoy trains at an early age this is the PERFECT choice.

I bought this for my 4 year old grandson who already has a small round TrackMaster set and loves it. This set has several different designs for the track, or you can make up your own. We have done all but 1 of the designs, but have not been brave enough to try our own yet. The instructions are fairly easy to follow, but I suggest keeping the box so you can also see the actual picture of the track you are trying to construct. I would say that is the only little issue I've had with this set... sometimes the instructions can be a little confusing, but I've been able to figure it out so far. We have several of the Thomas and Friends trains, so we can run up to 3 or 4 at a time on this track. My grandson just loves it and plays with it for hours! The pieces are easy to put together and take apart and are numbered on the back for easy assembly. A fact I didn't discover until I already had the first design half put together and was struggling. The assembly went much faster after that little discovery. The trains run very well on the track and the whole set up is super sturdy. I highly recommend this set for anyone with a child who loves trains. Holds up to rough handling by toddlers and younger children just fine. We plan on adding another TrackMaster set to our collection very soon. I just cannot say enough good things about this train set!!

I got it for my nephew's 3rd birthday and he's a big Thomas the Tank fan. My aunt as bought the Close Call cavern set and it was easy to connect it with the other set.

This was a Christmas gift for my 3 year old son. In general the track works fine once you're able to decipher which pieces go where. The instructions are not complete and the pictures on the box do not match. The pieces don't click into each other properly, esp the scaffolding parts with the track. It seems the track is too light for the trains that need to circulate on it. The trains themselves are alright although I believe one to be defective (Samson) as his wheels get stuck and his speed is slower than Thomas. I loosen the screw and he works better but then his bottom half is loose. It does keep my son busy however not user friendly for the adult who has to assemble it.

I bought it for my 4 year old, Absolutely loved it and it was a great idea at the time but then it took us almost 2 hours just to get it right and set it up. To move it to his bedroom from the living Room had to take it apart to carry it and took another hour to put it back together again and the train is not state on the track and it is very difficult to decipher pieces.

The pictures on the box for track options to build do not match the pictures on the instructions for track options. The instructions do not lead to a working track it is awful. And the pieces are cheap.

Product is cheaply made. Some of the pieces came bent, there are far better trains then Thomas the train. Unsatisfied with the product, wouldn't recommend it, had to return it.
