Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Cave Collapse Train Playset, 1 Piece

I bought this for my son about a month ago. He just turned 10 and he's on the spectrum. He LOVES this toy!!! I'm very impressed that it was so easy to assemble. My son has played with it everyday. My 12 year old daughter actually plays with it too because it really is fun. The way Thomas zooms around the track with Dusty pushing boulders out of the way is really fun to watch!!

A great set that's easy to set up (Less than 10 minutes for one adult) with parts that click into place rather than needing the use of tools (Although a screwdriver is required to put 2 AAA batteries in Thomas). Requires approximately 110cm x 50cm clearance to set up but once used the track can be easily dismantled and put to one side until next time. Great to see ‘Working parts' with the child/children being responsible for working the lift. Very entertaining to watch as Darcy the digger clears the path for Thomas....... just makes sure you put him back in place ready to pick Thomas up on his next way round! A well built product that's robust and doesn't contain stupidly small parts.

My three year old loved this toy so much, he's a massive Thomas fan so was so happy when he got this gift and hasn't stopped playing with it yet. It encourages imaginative play plus it Was pretty easy to assemble so that's always a bonus.

My son was so excited when I gave him this set! Immediately, he started ripping into it to get to all the pieces. It does require an adult, or in my case, his older siblings to help put the set together. It also requires 2 AAA batteries to make the motorized Thomas go, but until I could find the batteries, my son was playing with it just fine. I like the interaction required to make the set work. My son loved his gift. He added it to his collection and loved how the boulders fall and Thomas cleans them up. Good touch.

My grandson loves this train playset. He plays with it for hours. Very easy to assemble.

My son couldn't wait to point out all the features of Thomas' front end loader, even before he opened the box. Upon actually opening the box, he turned it around to illustrate exactly how the toy worked. He explained how the tank goes from the top of the mountain and crushes boulders along the way...THEN he actually opened the package. ha ha! My son had a lot of fun with this toy and continues to play with it every day. Additionally, we saw it in a local Target store last weekend and he ran right up to it to point out the other tracks and toys available.
